The Green Rooster Lighting 315W CMH digital ballast is a state of art, highly efficient ballast. It is designed to drive the 315W ceramic metal halide lamp. Our lamp and ballast are tuned to work together at over 99% efficiency when operated together, give far greater canopy light penetration than conventional 600W HPS Kits. This is achieved due to the lamps 92% likeness to the sun (92% on the CRI Color Rendering Index) These lamps give better spectrum and intensity of light, all factors in a successful garden. The Green Rooster Lighting Ballast is a digital ballast on a software based platform. Utilizing Japanese components and unparalleled engineering, The Green Rooster Lighting is able to achieve a less than 1% return rate.

The Green Rooster Lighting 315W CMH lamp creates amazing full color light spectrum out of ceramic lamps. Higher amounts of beneficial UV and far red spectrums increase the lamps growth power to the plants. Very high 1.95 PPF per second light source (3000K lamp). 3000 K or 4200 K color temperature, high 92 CRI, 33,000 initial lumens (105Lm/W). Long life 20,000 hours lamp. High 90% lumen maintenance @ 8000 hr. High 85% PPF maintenance @ 20,000 hr. Unique open rated lamp construction reduces radiant heat from the arc tube and is suitable for open fixture use.

Boost Overdrive:

The Green Rooster Lighting overdrive does not harm the longevity of the lamp.  it will only overdrive the lamp by 5%. Because the Green Rooster Lighting ballasts are rated so efficiently, the extra boost in power will not affect the lamps lumen depreciation or shorten lamp life.

This Green Rooster Lighting model accepts only the 315W ceramic metal halide lamp (type T12 38 mm PGZX18 base).

E40 (screw in ) lamp adapter is available, this allows for the CMH 315W lamp to be used on your existing reflector, cooltube or shade, absolutely brilliant！

In operation, inner heats will dissipate through case. When case temperature rises up to 85°C, ballast will gradually reduce power to 75%; when case temperature reach to 90°C, ballast will stop working until cool down to 70°C, then returns to full power status.
