Green Rooster Mushroom Spawn Bag
Mycologists created our top-selling organic sterilized grain spawn bag to maximize the rate and size of your mushroom growth. Each spawn bag is filled with our special blend of organic, nutrient-rich, hydrated millet and wheat berries. Moreover, the bags have a self-healing injection port for use with spore or culture syringes and a patch filtering out particles smaller than 0.2 microns to prevent airborne pollutants while maintaining even gas exchange. The injection port's color may differ.
Spawn to bulk ratio
We suggested using 5 pounds of manure or hardwood sterile substrate for every 1 lb of colonized grain spawn. Moreover, we advise adding 1 to 3 ccs to each 2 pound injection port bag. (For further information, see Inoculation and Colonization below.)
